The school psychologist's areas of work include assessment of factors affecting child development (testing, observation, interviewing, analysis of assessment results, conceptualisation of the problem), counselling, consultation, cooperation with parents and other specialists, conducting thematic lectures for pupils. According to his/her qualifications, the school psychologist may conduct training courses for Narva Central City School staff and parents.

• Requirements:

  Master's degree or equivalent qualification (Basic School and Secondary School Act § 74¹) and compliance with the requirements for proficiency in the official language (Decree of the Government of the Republic of 20.06.2011 No 84 § 9).
  An advantage: work experience in an educational establishment.
